Fall is in full swing, and against the beautiful backdrop of leaves beginning to change colors and cooling breezes in the air, we’re pleased to celebrate October as National Women’s Small Business Month.

Our CEO, Vernae Jones-Seals founded OneSource over 15 years ago. Leading the business through various stages of growth, Vernae and her team have kept their focus on delivering sustainable value for clients while in parallel, making notable contributions to the community. One of the true passions Vernae and the OneSource team members have is directly supporting women entrepreneurs and business leaders through coaching and mentoring. As an example, Vernae leads a Virtual CFO course each year in Prince George’s County, MD, where she helps all small business owners gain practical financial planning and management skills.

According to the National Women’s Business Council, 10 million women-owned businesses are generating $1.4 trillion in revenue and employing 8.4 million people. The contributions and lasting impact these businesses are having on the economy and industries, and across communities is substantial. Collectively, these businesses – for profit and not-for-profit – represent a high potential force with a positive influence on current and future generations.

Celebrate with us and let’s collaborate to raise awareness for the value we’re all providing – and let’s do more!

We’re proud to be a Women-owned Business Enterprise (WBE), and we honor our colleagues, partners, and friends who also lead women-owned organizations.
